Road trip!!! Isabelle goes to college ...

This is our week of road trips: First, San Francisco to help Isabelle move into her new dorm at Dominican College (sniff sniff). Second, Vegas for the weekend to celebrate Ima's 85th birthday!!! That's a whole lotta driving!!!

Since Dad is in India for business, our road trip to San Francisco was just me, Mike, Zoe, Isabelle and Mama Flory.  It was kind of strange to have a car filled with her stuff knowing that she'll be so far away from all of us in LA ... but I think living on her own will do her wonders and as hard as it is to not be able to see her every weekend, it's time for her to start her college experience!

Dominican College is a super small, super private Catholic university in SF.  I think there's only about 2,000 students, with the average class size being 8!!! Crazy!  The dorms are all "Victorian" looking mansion types (they kind of look like super big sorority houses).  Isabelle will be sharing a room with one person and a bathroom with four people (again, huge change for her!). Zoe had a great time touring the campus (she's already been to CSUN, Harvard and now, Dominican!) and quickly made friends.  It looked like it was her and Isabelle doing the freshmen orientation =).

Freshmen!!!

After Isabelle's orientation, we met up with Rowena, Tone and the kids.  Zoe finally had a chance to hang out with her cousins Isiah, Ariana and Xavier! Everyone is growing up wayyyy too fast!

Before we headed back to LA, we had brunch with Uncle Phil and Aunty Ting.  Check out Z and her twin lolas!
