Part Two of Road Trip Week took place in Las Vegas with my family! We were all there to celebrate Ima's 85th birthday ... as an added bonus, Tita Bot and Tito Charlie flew in Tito Rodel and Olive as a surprise for Ima. This was the first time Zoe has been on a trip with my family so everyone had a great time!
Thanks to Tita Lita and her hookups, we stayed at the Westin for a great price. It was nice to have everyone in Vegas ... it's been quite a long time since we've done something like that. We also got a chance to hang out with TedNa as well, so it felt like we got a lot of QT with everyone!
For Ima's birthday, we all had dinner at Grand Luxe at the Venetian Hotel. Afterwards, we walked around "St. Mark's Square" and revealed our big group gift to her: Her very own 44" TV in her room! We figured it would be a great gift so she could watch her TFC shows in the comfort of her own room and didn't have to walk around too much at Sunbeam. Also, thanks to technology, relatives from the Philippines got to do "face time" and also send birthday greetings via youtube. Pretty high-tech, huh? We also all got dressed up to add to the specialness of the evening. Ima looked absolutely beautiful and, more importantly, she looked super happy. Birthday success!
Zoe did great for being in Vegas. She coped with the late nights and the crowds very well. I swear, it's such a breeze traveling with her! We are so blessed!
