Moving crew

A bunch of the Cathedral Young Adults helped Fr. Francis officially move out of the cathedral residence today.  He actually had more stuff than any of us ever thought!! Everything from tons of music cds, to surf boards to paintings!  Even though there were tons of stuff, we actually did it fairly quickly since there was so much help.  It was fun loading up the trucks with all his nick knacks (again, proof that he's a REAL person ... with junk ... lol).  We joked that he was a hoarder.  While we were moving him out, Fr. Angel and his people came to move him in. It was kind of funny because we were rolling almost 20+ deep and he and his people were all but 4 or 5 people max.  Again, a testament to how much Fr. Francis is loved at the Cathedral. I only hope that when it's time for Fr. Angel to move out of the Cathedral, he will also be rolling 20+ people deep =).

Once we loaded up all his stuff, it was time to unload at his new home.  His new digs actually wasn't as bad as I had thought.  Yes, the neighborhood is kind of sketchy (the church is right next to a tire shop and there's a siren blazing literally every 15 minutes) but the church and his new home itself is actually quite quaint and cozy.  Since there were a flight of stairs to get to his room, the boys all lined up and transported Fr. Francis' stuff assembly line style =).  Once he was all moved in, his mom and sister prepared a great lunch for everyone to enjoy in the pavilion.

It was great hanging out with everyone and being so productive.  I'm glad we could take the time to help Fr. Francis out --- he's touched our lives so much and we are always looking for ways to show him how much we love and appreciate him =).
