Meeting Santa

Mike and I took Zoe to meet Santa today at the Americana.  I had a feeling she wouldn't like him and I was right.  She refused to sit on his lap ... instead, Santa asked me to sit on his lap while Zoe sat in my lap.  I ended up looking at the wrong camera, but oh well! Here's the picture:

While Mike was meeting with a friend, Jeric, Heidi and I took Zoe to the Barnes and Noble children's area.  Zoe loved playing with all the trains and hanging out with little people like her =) ... I really love watching her interact with kids.  So far, she's great with sharing and allowing others to do their own thing.  Most of the time she just stares at them with a look of concern (as if she's worried they might hurt themselves or something lol) ...

We also took some pictures around the Americana (on 2 separate Americana outings).  I really love it there ... it feels so "Christmas-y" =)

Later that evening, Mike and I joined some of our CCC friends at Big Wangs to watch the 49ers game. Monsignor Kevin also joined the fun (despite the fact that Notre Dame was not playing).  It was so much fun to get together and hang out with those couples outside of our normal CCC meetings =) ...

I can't believe Christmas is almost here!  I'm so excited to celebrate Zoe's first Christmas (best.holiday.ever)!!!!
