Finally, after months of trying to teach her, on October 7th Zoe finally learned how to clap!!! She's been wanting to clap for a while now ... every time she sees people clapping (especially her friend Grayson) I can see how much she wants to clap. Since she couldn't figure out how to put both of her hands together, she instead settled for slapping her thigh any time she saw people clapping. Well, last night, out of the blue, she just started clapping on her own!!! It's like something clicked and once it did -- she was the happiest little girl!!!
The next day, Zoe was clapping non-stop. Even if you didn't ask her to clap, she would just clap on her own. She was so obsessed with it that she was even clapping in her sleep!! How cute is that?!
I was so proud of her accomplishment that I've been filming her all day. Here's a little clapping montage ... Zoe's new found passion!
