Help! I'm addicted to baking soda! Not eating it, per se, but using it to clean with! I've been on a crazy cleaning kick lately ( as evidenced in previous posts) ... So much so that I've been researching tips and tricks (thank you pinterest) on how best to clean things . I've even gone as far as downloading apps about household tips, etc! Is this the domestication of ivy or something? Not really sure what's up with me but I really have been making cleaning EVERTYTHING my new hobby ... Not just my usual weekly cleaning (bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, etc) I'm talking about the stuff I've managed to avoid for quite some time and most people only do once or twice a year (cleaning out ovens, stove grates, floorboards, etc).
In my extensive research, baking soda was the number one used cleaning product. I thought it was just for cooking or for keeping my fridge smelling nice ... So I decided to give it a go and once I witnessed its magic, I was HOOKED! I used it to clean my ovens, my sink, and even the BBQ grill we just bought that was very much broken in during last week's Oktoberfest party! It really does do wonders! I'm definitely going to buy the Costco sized one soon as I've already finished the large package I bought at target last week.
As much as this cleaning kick is new to me, it does reassure me that my former hardworking self is still in me. I always prided myself on going above and beyond at work, for being a self starter and for being resourceful and dedicated. I'm glad that those same qualities i loved about my pre-Zoe self is still alive and kicking and growing and learning new things! I LOVE my new job as a stay-at-home mom and I want to get better and better at it every year - not just for me, but more importantly, for my family!
