Grandpa comes to visit!

Before we embark on our almost four week asia tour, Grandpa and Grandma Edna made sure to pay Zoe a visit. With them they brought a Barbie 6 volt quad and cool cat sketchers for their little princess (seriously, this kid is so loved!). They said it was an early Christmas present :). Zoe loves her new wheels but is still a bit hesitant to ride it full force - I think the sound of "engine" kind of scares her.

Aside from hanging out with Zoe, we also went to the Ventura harbor and to a Japanese restaurant for dinner with Ninong Jay. Unfortunately for Dad, Zoe now monitors him when he tries to escape for a cigarette. She's very diligent about saying "no no no" while wagging her finger at him every time he tries to sneak away :).

It's always nice to be able to see my dad. Despite him living in Las Vegas, he really does make an effort to still be a part of not just our life, but especially Zoe's life. He calls her at least twice a day just to say hello and he tries to drive out to LA every other month or so (even though it takes him 8 hours to get here due to his slow driving). Zoe is really so blessed to have so many people loving her!
