Celebrating Mike's birthday

Mike has had one heck of a birthday weekend.  Urusawa kicked things off ... and then came more eating =).  My family decided to throw Mike an "Asian Night Market" themed party at Sunbeam.  My mom prepared a Mongolian bbq buffet and Jay and Mao were our "chefs" ... it was actually a lot of fun (not to mention yummy).  Tita Bot loves loves loves themed parties and she once again succeeded in transforming Sunbeam into a pretty legit looking Asian Night Market =).

Sunday, we went to mass followed by dim sum at King Hua with Michael's parents.  Back up in Oxnard, Michael and I went to go watch "The Dark Knight Rises" while Jeric baby sat Zoe.

Then on Monday, Mike took his co-workers to go see the Dallas Cowboys' training camp!  He's been wanting to go to this for a while now and it worked out that the first day of camp happened to fall on his birthday =).  When they got home, we wen to mass at Camarillo to give thanks for another year of life ... And lastly, to get the "noodle" requirement for long life, we ate at Sumo Sushi (no, we didn't have sushi ... we're still snobs thanks to Urusawa) to eat Udon!  Talk about an awesome birthday weekend, right?

On a serious note, thank you God for blessing us with Michael.  He has been such an amazing partner for me and living life without him is absolutely unimaginable.  Like a fine wine, he is only getting better with age.  I thought 18-year-old Mike was amazing ... but I have to say, 31-year-old Mike is pretty damn awesome.  Feeling so blessed, it makes me giddy =)
