Happy birthday Cherrie!

Tonight we got a special treat -- we got to hang out with our college friends!!!  Since we all started having kids, it's been getting a bit harder to get together and just "hang out".  Sometimes, when we DO get together, it still doesn't feel like we've "hung out" since our respective kids pull us in various directions =). Nonetheless, having kids or a busy schedule is no excuse to not make time for each other, so I was super excited to be able to see my friends on a "school night" =).

We all brought our kids ... and yes, at times it was a bit chaotic and carrying a cohesive conversation for 2 minutes straight was a bit difficult, but it was still nice to get together to celebrate Cherrie's birthday.  We usually always celebrate one another's birthdays together and now that most of us have kids, it's a bit different but still heartfelt =).
