Welcome to the world Phoebe Angeline Yumul!

Yesterday, I got a text from Dennis saying Danrochelle's doctor has advised them that it's time for Phoebe to come out and that he will be inducing labor.  Thank goodness they didn't come to visit me in Oxnard!  The two of them were planning to visit me since Tuesday, but then they both started feeling under the weather and decided to postpone their Oxnard visit to Friday.  Dan's not due until November 14th, but I kind of had a feeling Phoebe would be coming sometime the weekend before.  It's kind of crazy when you go in for what you think is a "regular" doctor's appointment only to find out there's no more leaving the hospital because it's time to have a baby.  I know Dan was semi-mentally prepared for Phoebe to come sooner than the 14th, but I'm not sure if she was ready for that day to be now (she told me when I called her on Thursday night that she was still supposed to get a pedicure and they were also hoping to be able to watch the premiere of the movie "Immortals").  So much for their 11-11-11 movie theater plans! Ha!

Apparently, once Dan got admitted to the hospital, she started going through contraction on her own ... so the doctor decided to keep her there and see how well she progressed throughout the day.  He said he'd giver her until 12:01am before he would induce labor ... which meant ... we have an 11-11-11 baby!!!!  What a cool birthday =) ... what's even cooler was that Dan continued to make good progress all throughout the day yesterday leaving their no need to induce labor (hooray for au naturale!) ... according to Dennis, once her water broke, it only took about 3 big contractions for Dan to push Phoebe out (the woman is efficient, I tell you)!  Phoebe Angeline was born at 4:54 am and weighed 8 lbs, 2 oz and was 20" long!  Once I heard the news and saw the pictures I immediately started to cry tears of joy.  Dan and Dennis are two of my BEST friends in this world and I was so overcome with joy that God has blessed them with a beautiful, healthy little angel named Phoebe.  Danrochelle did an amazing job and is recovering well.  I'm so very happy for the Yumul Family.  They DESERVE to be parents and they've been so patient all these years trusting that God's timeline was better than their timeline.  Although the next few weeks will be a beautiful chaos, I know they will learn to adjust to the baby and will continue to live the wonderful, fun-filled life that they have.  Phoebe will add such a vibrant layer to their already awesome life and I know they will be full of laughter and bliss from here on out.

I am sooooo excited to meet little Pheebs.  Hopefully we can visit them sometime this weekend because the little siopao face's cheeks are just waiting to be pinched (and kissed) by me!!!  I'm also excited to see her and Zoe grow up together.  I'm sure they'll be besties like their moms =).

Thank you Lord for blessing us with such a beautiful angel today!  You never fail to show us how much you love us!

(I "borrowed" these pics from Dennis and RB's facebook =) ... )

It's Dennis on the top and Danrochelle on the bottom! She totally closes her mouth
like Dan Dan and the eyes are unmistakeably her dads!

I love this picture!  Dan is so motherly already =)
